Ube’s aggregate caprolactam production capacity amounts to 345,000 tons, making the company the top player in Asia and third on a global basis.

The Nylon-6 business is benefiting from growing global demand for nylon-based automobile parts and food-wrapping materials, and this has rapidly become another core operation. Annual domestic capacity for Nylon-6 is currently 55,000 tons, with Ube Nylon Thailand providing another 20,000 tons.
