The UNYLON-Group with its subsidiary UNYLON Polymers is one of the important independent manufactures of Nylon-6 in Europe with an annual production of about 48,000 tons/y. UNYLON Polymers in Guben is a 100%-affiliate-company of the stock-listed UNYLON AG in Hamburg.

The Guben plant with 4 continuously working multistage polymerisations is producing Nylon-6 since more than 40 years now. The well known high quality of polyamide from Guben is guaranteed by an experienced staff and the production process was certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2000.

The Nylon-6 grades synthesised by UNYLON Polymers have a viscosity range of 2.4 to 4.0. The Nylon-6 granules will preferably be used in carpet industry, in plastic industry (injection moulding, compounding) and in automotive industry. In December 2004 a new production line for increasing the viscosity range of PA6 has been started. The application areas will be expanded thereby.

UNYLON Polymers AG is as a manufacture of Nylon-6 independent, flexible and prompt in its activities. The high quality of synthesised Nylon-6 granules is guaranteed by an in decades accumulated know-how and the installed quality control.
